The main aim of the project:

           To develop the quality assurance system for practical training in a VET institution, based on self-assessment, using innovative methods and tools. 

The aim will be achieved through the following objectives:

  • To analyse practical training in VET institutions and to develop analysis of internal quality assurance in practical training in European VET institutions of partner countries;

  • To develop  „Description of Conception and Model of Quality Assurance in Practical Training“; „A Set of Criteria and Indicators for Quality Assessment in Practical Training“ and „Self-assessment questionnaires for a  VET Institution“  as well as  „Examples of organizing practical training while implementing a model of quality assurance“, through a set of procedures, instructions, visual aids.

 

Project work stages:

No 1 “Needs analysis”

Aims:

  • To develop methodology for analysis of the system of quality assessment in practical training ;

  • To carry out the analysis in VET institutions of partner countries and to develop the Study of the analysis of the system of quality assessment of practical training in European VET institutions;

  • To develop recommendations on the structure (contents) of the product.

 

No 2 “Product development”

Aims:

To develop:

  • Description of Conception and Model of Quality Assurance in Practical Training,

  • A Set of Criteria and Indicators for Quality Assessment in Practical Training,

  • Self-assessment questionnaires for a VET institution,

  • Examples of organising practical training while implementing a model of quality assurance.

The stage of products development consists of:

  • Development of drafts of the products;

  • Improvement of developed products according to recommendations gained from testing and internal and external evaluation phases and development of the final version of products.

 

No 3 “Testing and evaluation”

Aims:

  • To test Self-assessment questionnaires and usability of quality criteria and indicators at the VET institutions of Lithuania, Sweden, Spain, Germany; to generalise the results.

  • To organize the external expert assessment of the developed products. 

  • To determine strong and weak points of the developed products and to develop recommendations for their improvement.

 

No 4 “Valorisation”

Aims:

  • To disseminate the information about the project and its results among as many potential users of the project as possible.

  • To get comments and suggestions about the disseminated product from physical and juridical persons.

  • To improve the developed products regarding proposals of the target group and potential users.

  • To adjust project results in other fields or for other target group, in order to continue their application or developing in other environment.

  • To supervise correspondence of the created products to the needs of the target group and potential users and react if the product does not correspond to the needs.

 

No 5 “Project and product creation management and evaluation”

Aims:

  • ensure the  functioning and reliability of the project and product creation management;

  • ensure the project and product quality under a constant control.
